Pill Access is an online platform that helps people access medication abortion through licensed healthcare professionals in the United States.

We facilitate the online process and connect patients with qualified healthcare professionals who independently review their information and determine whether medication abortion is appropriate.

How Pill Access Works

1. Share Your Information

Provide your pregnancy and health information through the online process.

2. Licensed Professional Review

A licensed healthcare professional independently reviews your information and determines whether medication abortion is appropriate for you.

3. Clinical Care

If medication abortion is appropriate, the healthcare professional provides the necessary clinical guidance and care.

4. Medication Fulfillment

If medication is prescribed, it is fulfilled through a licensed pharmacy partner in accordance with applicable requirements.

Medication Abortion in the USA

Mifepristone, used together with misoprostol, is FDA-approved for ending an intrauterine pregnancy through 10 weeks (70 days) from the first day of the last menstrual period. Mifepristone is available by prescription under the FDA's Mifepristone REMS Program.

The FDA does not require an in-person visit as part of the Mifepristone REMS. The licensed healthcare professional determines what clinical assessment is appropriate based on the patient's circumstances.

Your Location Matters

Availability of abortion care can vary depending on where you live and applicable state requirements.

Pill Access is not the Healthcare Provider

Pill Access facilitates the online process and connection to care. It does not independently diagnose, determine eligibility, prescribe medication, or provide clinical treatment.

Medical decisions and clinical care are provided by licensed healthcare professionals.
